Isofix attachment with new FlexBase iSENSE for maximum safety and comfort

The Britax Römer Dualfix 3 i-Size child car seat, which is part of the new modular system, can only be used in conjunction with the FlexBase iSENSE. This base is included in the delivery.

Simply clicked onto the FlexBase iSENSE, it offers superior protection and cosy comfort for all upcoming trips until your child is four years old.

The rotatable base is attached to your vehicle by using the Isofix anchor hooks. These can be extended, making it even easier to engage and release at the connectors in the car. The FlexBase must then be pushed all the way back against the vehicle seat. The support leg is responsible for additional stability. It minimises tilting and rotational motions and reduces forward forces generated in the event of a collision. A visual indicator shows you when the support leg is firmly on the ground.

The adjustable support bracket provides more legroom and safety. It can be adjusted by 8 degrees, making it easy to adapt to the vehicle’s backrest.

Adjustable angle optimisation

Especially in cars with tilted vehicle seats, there is a risk that your child's head will tip forward. The FlexBase iSENSE allows you to adjust the angle in six ergonomic positions. With every trip and in every car, a healthy reclining position in the child car seat is ensured.

Rear-facing mode – the safest position for your child

As a flexible reboarder car seat, the Dualfix 3 i-Size including FlexBase iSENSE allows you to let your child drive in a rear-facing mode up to the age of 4 years.

In a frontal collision – the most common type of traffic accident – rear-facing car seats offer the best protection. The force of the impact is optimally absorbed and cushioned via the back of the child car seat. At the same time, the forces that occur in the accident are evenly distributed over the head, neck and upper body. We therefore recommend transporting your child in the rear-facing position in the car for as long as possible.

The rotation function of the FlexBase iSENSE allows you to easily twist the seat towards the car’s door so that you can effortlessly place your child in the seat and buckle them up. From a height of 76 cm, the rotating child car seat makes it possible to switch to the forward-facing mode. In order to offer your child the best protection in accidents, we recommend letting them ride in the rear-facing mode for as long as possible. When they are old and tall enough, you can switch to the forward-facing position quickly and easily.

Comfortable and stress-free travel

To ensure that your child always has a comfortable drive, you can make individual settings at any time. The comfortable rear-facing car seat is equipped with six sitting and resting positions that can be adjusted easily. The V-shaped headrest is primarily a safety feature, but it also offers your child plenty of comfort. Lean back and relax in the soft padded Dualfix 3 i-Size and enjoy the ride.
